today is all about black & orange. yes i'm sure for most of you that means halloween, but to San Franciscans it means GIANTS PARADE! i havent been posting recently but all my friends know that i've been all about the SF Giants- we made it to the world series & guess what? we swept the detroit tigers!! we are 2012 world series champions! i thoroughly love baseball and our team and our players but what i love more is my city. i would give my left arm to be at the parade today celebrating the giants and san francisco.
our second day was all about exploring! we went to granville island, gas land, granville st. shopping, a crepe cafe- which for some was the first crepe experience!, at a bar watching the giants play the cardinals, & making friends at a pub (my first pub experience- can't wait for more).
i just got back from one of the funnest trips of my life! i went to vancouver over this four day weekend with some friends & i expected it to be a blast but it totally surpassed my expectations. i feel spoiled rotten to have had this much (needed) fun. we got their on saturday & for those of you who know Macklemore & Ryan Lewis: they were staying in our hotel & we had a conversation with Macklemore. if you don't know who they are please check this out, it's chilling.
sittin in Macklemore's chair!
after taking a little nap (we were pooped after our drive) we went out & got some dinner (the best part was being able to order a glass of wine with our food). we also got dressed up & headed to a bar, which included a lot of dancing. to top off our first night in canada we took a dip in the pool!
i can't really tell you the first time i found etsy but i love it. i love to just browse and see all the different kinds of art people make. i occasionally make a purchase but i am truly always amazed by the talent and craft it takes to make them. here are some of my fav shops as of late
this weekend i celebrated my 19th birthday with some hiking and some good friends. i see mt. rainier almost everyday on a clear day, but i've never actually seen it up close. i am so glad i decided to do hike in the national forest, it was so beautiful. but i'll let the pictures speak for themselves.
